The Economics and Environmental Science Program (EES), an innovative PhD program, trains environmental economists for a specialty in an area of environmental science such as Climate, Hydrology, Applied Ecology and Marine Science. Fellowships funded through a National Science Foundation grant are available to outstanding candidates who are US Citizens or Permanent Residents (other students are welcome with their own funding).  The EES Program  is a joint undertaking of the Department of Economics and the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management.
The Bren School also offers a PhD program in Environmental Science and Management as well as a professional Masters degree program. MBA and law students in the UC system access the Bren School for environmental science, law and corporate environmental management intercampus curricula at UCSB.
