Tenured position at the Associate or Full Professor Level
Bio Economic Modeler, University of California, Davis invites applications for a tenured position at the ASSOCIATE OR FULL PROFESSOR level, with the possibility of an appointment in the California Agricultural Experiment Station. This is one of eight positions in a Global Environmental Change and Conservation Biology cluster. The selected candidate will be expected to have skills and interests in integrating concepts from economics and ecology into quantitative bioeconomic models. A Ph.D. in economics or a related field or equivalent expertise plus demonstrated experience in biology/ecology and the ability and willingness to engage in cross-disciplinary research on topics such as ecosystem services, terrestrial and marine conservation policy, integrated modeling of human/natural systems, invasive species, or biodiversity policy. Successful candidates will teach and conduct research in environmental economics or natural resource economics.
