The Director will provide advice, analysis and expertise on a broad range of issues, including direct support to member companies. The issues include climate, environmental/resource economics, RPS, and energy efficiency. The Director will analyze legislative and policy proposals and government studies as well as evaluate modeling assumptions/results. The job requires exceptional analytical, writing and interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will have an MA or Ph.D. in economics, with an expertise in resource/environmental economics, cost/benefit analysis, utility/regulatory economics, industrial organization or microeconomics, plus at least 5 years of industry/regulatory experience.
