Job Description: Responsibilities will be to conduct research in regional economics, natural resource economics, and economic impact analysis. The individual will work with other faculty to develop and estimate models; collect data, write computer programs, and prepare journal manuscripts.
Required Qualifications: A PhD in economics, agricultural economics, or related field is required. Must have experience with econometric and optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications: Should have experience with and knowledge of regional economic modelling techniques such as GIS, input-output, computable general equilibrium, or spatial econometrics. Experience with threshold models, count data analysis, discrete choice modeling, or dynamic optimization also desirable.
