1. First go to the Science Direct AERE activation page and register with your AERE member number. (Contact info@aere.org if you have misplaced your number.)
2. You will then be asked to enter your first and last (family) name, E-mail address, areas of interest, and to select a password.
3. After you have completed the activation process, close that web site and go to www.sciencedirect.com. Log in with your username, which is your first and last name with no spaces (e.g., johnsmith) and chosen password.
4. After you login, you will get the message "You have entered a User Name/Password for a website outside of ScienceDirect: Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. To continue, you may..." and select the option: "Click to proceed to: Journal of Environmental Economics and Management."
