2007 AERE Summer Workshop

The theme of the 2007 AERE Workshop was “Valuation and Incentives for Ecosystem Services.” Workshop papers covered a wide range of topics, including the methods and applications that evaluate the services provided by nature and on incentives and institutions that modify behavior and lead to enhanced provision of amenities including biodiversity, carbon sequestration, preservation of wildlife, etc. The papers addressed diverse resource management and environmental policy problems and applied a variety of theoretical, experimental, econometric, and numerical methods.
