AERE Annual Lunch

The AERE Luncheon at the Allied Social Science Association meetings is an opportunity for AERE members to enjoy a break from intensity of three days of panels and research presentations. The Luncheon provides some informal time to mingle, catch up with old friends, and meet new people in our field.
The AERE Luncheon also serves as the association's annual general membership meeting, following as it does on the heels of the annual Board of Directors meeting which takes place the previous evening. Before and after the main course, the following agenda items were addressed:
- Report on the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management
Charles Mason, Editor.
- Report on the Review of Environmental Economics and Policy
Robert Stavins, Editor.
- Winner of the 2008 Publication of Enduring Quality Award
- New 2008 AERE Fellows

The success of the Annual AERE Luncheon is due in no small part to Marilyn Voigt, AERE's Executive Director, pictured below with Ann Wolverton, AERE Secretary who also helped to organize and execute the AERE lunch. Thank you, Marilyn and Ann!
