AERE Annual Lunch
Sunday, January 4, 2009
Hilton, San Francisco
AERE would like to thank Zinnia Mukherjee for being our volunteer photographer during the 2009 AERE Luncheon.
Zinnia is currently a PhD candidate in the Economics Department at the University of Connecticut. Her main research interests lie in the areas on environmental and natural resource economics, and international economics. The theme that runs through her dissertation is the design and evaluation of conservation policies to protect endangered species. In particular, she looks at the effectiveness of voluntary approaches and the role of background regulatory threat in mitigating stochastic sea turtle bycatch and the welfare effects of unilateral conservation policies in an open economy.
