The World Congress is held each four years and is co-sponsored by AERE and the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE). The fourth World Congress is being held under the auspices of Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and the Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Économie Quantitative (CIREQ).
