Join us for AERE’s Fall Virtual Workshop, a timely and thought-provoking event exploring the intersection of climate-driven weather extremes, natural disasters, and insurance markets. Organized by Margaret Walls (Resources for the Future) and Will Wheeler (federal government economist), this two-day workshop will highlight cutting-edge research and pressing policy questions in this evolving area. The program will feature keynote remarks from Carolyn Kousky, a leading expert on disaster insurance and climate risk, and include sessions on risk modeling, insurance market design, wildfire and flood hazard, and government roles in resilience and recovery.
