Frontiers in Natural Capital and Green Accounting will be held on September 28 and 29, 2023, from 2:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET online via Zoom. The workshop is structured to help participants navigate this rapidly-developing space that has been in part spurred by the release of the U.S. National Strategy for Natural Capital Accounts and Associated Environmental-Economic Statistics as well as international efforts.

Panelists will share their knowledge from a variety of perspectives on the following aspects of the topic:

  • History and background; 
  • Structure of national accounts and relationship to natural resource and the environment; 
  • Environmental-economic accounts and analysis beyond benefit-cost analysis; and 
  • Research gaps and next steps.

Professional registration fees are $75 for AERE members and $100 for non-members*.
Student registration fees are $20 for AERE student members and $40 for non-member full-time students*.
