AERE Organized Sessions

AERE organizes scholarly sessions and related social events in conjunction with several major economics conferences each year. This programming includes sessions previously associated with the AERE Winter Meeting, along with additional AERE-sponsored sessions across partner associations: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, Allied Social Science Associations/American Economic Association, Eastern Economics Association, Midwest Economics Association, Southern Economic Association, and Western Economic Association International.

AERE @ the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA)

AERE organizes 4-8 track sessions at the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA) Annual Conference with the Land, Water and Environmental Economics Section (ENV).

AERE @ the Allied Social Sciences Associations (ASSA)

AERE sponsors nine sessions and convens a related social event at the Allied Social Sciences Associations (ASSA) Annual Meeting, which is organized by the American Economic Association (AEA) in conjunction with more than 50 related associations.

    • Submit your abstract (March 1 - April 15) The deadline is firm. Presenting authors may submit up to two abstracts. In addition to individual submissions, organized sessions with four papers and four discussants are welcome.

AERE organizes up to four sessions at the Eastern Economics Association (EEA) Annual Conference. 

AERE @ the Midwest Economics Association (MEA)

AERE organizes 8-10 sessions with up to four dozen research papers at the Midwest Economics Association (MEA) Annual Conference. 

 

AERE @ the Southern Economic Association (SEA)

AERE organizes more than 20 sessions, featuring approximately 100 research papers, at the Southern Economic Association (SEA) Annual Conference. 

 

AERE @ the Western Economic Association International (WEAI)

AERE typically organizes up to 18 sessions, featuring approximately 70 research papers, at the Western Economic Association International (WEAI) Annual Conference.
