Thanks to all who joined us for the AERE 2025 Summer Conference at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. With just over 515 attendees, this was our second-largest Summer Conference to date—another sign of the strength and energy in our community.

The program featured more than 75 sessions on a wide range of topics in environmental and resource economics—from climate, energy, and water to land use, environmental justice, and emerging methods. The keynote lecture by Marshall Burke (Stanford University) on The Changing Risk and Burden of Wildfire drew a full room and sparked a lot of great conversation. And the stargazing outing at the Sunrise Amphitheater was a fun and fitting way to connect under the desert sky.

We’re grateful to the local organizing committee from the University of New Mexico—Robert Berrens, Janie Chermak, Benjamin Jones, Jingjing Wang, Xiaoyang Wang, and Yuting Yang—for all they did to make this conference run smoothly. Thanks also to Will Wheeler for serving as Board liaison.

We’re also thankful to the supporters who helped us this year.
